Our Institute
Virtual Tapes Audio Institute (VTAI) was founded with the goal of making quality audio education practical, affordable, and accessible. With years of experience in music production, recording, sound engineering, and live audio, VTAI has become a place where aspiring producers, engineers, artists, and creators come together to learn and grow.
At VTAI, learning is all about doing. Students work on real recording sessions, music productions, live sound setups, and practical projects using industry-standard equipment in a professional studio environment. This hands-on approach helps them build the skills and confidence needed to work in the audio industry.
More than just an institute, VTAI is a creative community where students collaborate, share ideas, and learn from experienced mentors. Our goal is to help every student turn their passion for audio into a successful career through practical learning, industry knowledge, and real-world experience.

Paul Daniel
Co-Founder & Audio Engineer
Paul Daniel has spent nearly a decade recording, mixing, mastering, and producing music, earning credits on hundreds of projects. In addition to his studio expertise, he works as a Front of House (FOH) live sound engineer for some of the finest acts in the country.
Pratap Chandraa
Co-Founder & Audio Engineer
Pratap Chandraa, professionally known as PRAT., is an artist, audio engineer, record producer, and film composer. Renowned for his distinctive production style and versatility across diverse musical genres, he is also an Avid-certified engineer with numerous viral indie releases to credit.
Robin Soraisam
Faculty - Acoustics
Robin is an experienced acoustics specialist and studio designer, with deep expertise in sound behavior and studio construction. He leverages his extensive industry background to deliver practical, insight-driven teaching.

Ravi Hiremath
Faculty - Audio Post-Production
Ravi Hiremath is a seasoned Film Sound Engineer & Film Producer with expertise in sound design, foley, and surround mixing. With a strong presence in the Indian film industry, his notable works include Baida (2025), State of Siege: 26/11 (2020), and Odiyan (2018).

Their real-world expertise, creative insights, and professional journey help students understand industry standards, workflows, and practices while gaining valuable guidance to build their skills and confidence as audio professionals.

Students get hands-on experience with a wide range of professional studio gear, including industry-standard consoles, microphones, monitoring systems, and audio equipment. Our studio environment allows students to learn, experiment, and develop their technical skills using the same tools and workflows followed by professionals in the industry.
